Mid Career (2+ years of experience)
3 plus years of 3G mobile network circuiting. Must have Cramer Dimension experience (1 year plus)
To ensure that the integrity of the network is planned, built, audited and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner by the production (and communication/disemination) of radio and transmission, information, documentation and data prepared against industry best practice process and procedure within specified time constraints. Manage and coordinate workload of entire circuiting area. To recruit and cross train other members of team/department on own area of specialisation. To become multi skilled where required on all areas of National Network Planning Specialisations in order to develop own skills and meet company objectives. Develop planning tools to ensure they have the required functionality to plan changes to the Production Network as it evolves.
Planning and creation of network configuration data and connectivity to vendors/Operations in agreed timeframes and to agreed standard
Quality checks of all data /connectivity and information prepared before issue to the vendor to ensure that network errors are kept to a minimum.
Produce detailed monthly report for all circuiting activities
Ensure that all planning databases and the network are consistent. Update, audit, maintain and create data for the radio, tx and core network.
Work closely with 3 and other ESL departments to support optimisation activities and data /connectivity related discrepancies and faults.
Coordinate and manage workload for entire circuiting area.
Specify and manage development of network planning tools in line with network changes and infrastructure evolution.
Support other areas with technical support plus production, maintenance and communication of guidelines of best practice policy and procedure.
Run regional workshops as necessary to communicate new network changes in addition to best practice processes, procedures and policy.
Reporting and maintaining network KPIs and SLAs as required.
